Shannon is a highly effective therapist who brings a warm, assertive and analytical approach to her work. Shannon has comprehensive therapeutic experience, particularly in couples and relationship therapy. She has also has a background working in child, adolescent and adult mental health and family law counselling.
Shannon has a specific interest in working with clients struggling with issues in their relationships, be it couples or families. Shannon is adept at addressing conflict, and recognises the huge and lasting impact improving conflict can have on the overall functioning of a relationship.
Alongside relational work, Shannon offers accredited surrogacy counselling and is an experienced grief and loss counsellor; including specific experience supporting the parent/s of bereaved children. Shannon also facilitates parenting programs in individual or group settings for the Engaging Adolescents and 123 Magic and Emotion Coaching courses, supporting parents/caregivers to manage difficult behaviours in their children and build a more emotionally connected relationship.
Shannon enjoys reading (rather than listening to audiobooks), the autumn season, and gardening.
